NKE AUSTRIA GmbH is a manufacturer of high-quality bearings founded in 1996 by a group of senior employees of the former Steyr Wasserlag company. Within ten years, the NKE brand has become an important alternative in the world bearing market. We provide standard and special bearings for all industrial applications as well as technical services, including product development, application engineering, consulting, documentation and training. NKE's core functions – such as engineering, product development, component final processing, modular assembly, quality assurance, logistics, sales and marketing – are centralized at our headquarters in Steyr, Austria. The factory has passed ISO9001, ISO14001 and IS45001 certification. In April 2021, NKE was awarded the Austrian Quality Seal in recognition of its high quality standards. Today, NKE bearings are sold in more than 80 countries through more than 240 distributors and 18 international representative offices. NKE Austria has been part of the Fersa Group since January 2016. The Forsa Group was formed from the merger of two European bearing manufacturers: Spain's Forsa Bearings and Austria's NKE. Both companies are globally active in the design, production and distribution of high-quality bearings for the global automotive and industrial markets.
